FVMQ is a high-performance specialty silicone rubber that combines the advantages of fluorocarbon rubber (FKM) and methyl silicone rubber (MQ). Its key characteristics include:

Thermal Resistance

• Operating temperature range: -60°C to +200°C (short-term exposure up to 250°C).

• Lower compression set than conventional silicone rubber at high temperatures.

Chemical Resistance

• Excellent resistance to fuels, oils (engine/hydraulic), solvents (benzene, acetone), and acids/alkalis-close to FKM but with better flexibility.

• Superior to standard silicone rubber in resisting polar solvents.

Weather & Aging Resistance

• Outstanding resistance to UV, ozone, and radiation, making it suitable for harsh environments.

Mechanical & Electrical Properties

• Tensile strength: 5-10 MPa (lower than FKM but more elastic).

• Excellent electrical insulation, ideal for electronics.

Additional Features

• Maintains flexibility at -60°C (better low-temperature performance than FKM).
